A single score always hides a decision about what mattered more. Scored APKs prints the rating, the rating count and the install count separately for every app, so that decision stays yours instead of ours.
Three numbers, always the same three, always in the same order: rating, how many people rated it, and roughly how many installs it has. None of it is weighted, averaged into anything else, or used to sort apps by how impressive they look.
Every page is set down in advance as a finished file, so the three numbers are sitting there the moment it opens, not fetched in afterward.
Store listings change and a snapshot can go stale. If a number looks wrong for an app you know well, tell us through the contact form and it gets rechecked.
Apps with manipulated installers, unlocks bolted on without permission, or a name borrowed from another developer are dropped before any number is recorded for them. A number attached to a fake is worse than no number at all.
Scored APKs is kept by a small group who got tired of one star rating standing in for three separate pieces of information.
Numbers are refreshed as apps update, and an app that stops being maintained has its count pulled rather than left to go stale.
